One of the abducted students of Greenfield University, Kaduna State, has been freed from captivity.
The student’s mother, Lauritta Attahiru, on Tuesday confirmed the development to Channels Television, however, the police in Kaduna are yet to confirm the incident.
Attahiru failed to disclose if they paid a ransom to secure the release of her son or not.
The release of the student means that there are now 16 undergraduates of the university remaining in the custody of the kidnappers.
On Monday, those behind the abduction demanded N100m ransom and 10 new motorcycles before they released the students
