Arsenal Football Club of London has failed to qualify for the UEFA Champions League or Europa League for the first time in 25 years.

This is despite a 2-0 victory over Brighton on Sunday — the final round of the 20/21 league season.

Tottenham sealed a spot in the Europa League Conference and ensured they finished above Arsenal by beating Leicester 4-2 on the final day of the season.

Spurs went into final round of matches occupying seventh place in the Premier League and two late goals from Gareth Bale at the King Power Stadium sealed European qualification.

It means Arsenal will not be playing European football next season for the first time since the 1995-96 season.
