At least three persons have been feared killed with several others injured after Nigerian Air Force operatives and spare parts dealers at Ladipo Market clashes.
The three persons were said to have been killed by stray bullets on Tuesday afternoon.
Speaking with Af24news, a woman, who works in the area and identified as Oreoluwa Ajayi, said a military personnel came to buy a spare part about a month ago and had come to return it but on getting to the market the trader refused to change it or refund the money on the premise that the item has stayed more than a week with the customer.
According to Oreoluwa, the yet-to-be-identified military personnel in mufti threatened to disclose his identity if the needful was not done.
The argument was said to have escalated when the military personnel picked up his phone, called his “group” who arrived in their numbers and unleashed mayhem on the Ladipo community.
The matter is currently under investigation, according to law enforcement agencies.
