Chelsea are reportedly making a £50m offer for Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski, having admitted defeat in their pursuit of Erling Haaland.
The Poland hitman is also on Manchester City’s radar as Pep Guardiola seeks a reunion with the goal machine; following Tottenham Hotspurs’ refusal to budge Harry Kane.
The Blues are believed to have been in contact with Borussia Dortmund over a possible deal for Haaland but it seems likely that the Norwegian will remain at Dortmund for one more season.
Thomas Tuchel’s side are said to be desperate to sign a new centre-forward this summer and according to The Sun, the London giants are now lining up a move for Lewandowski.

Lewandowski has scored 294 goals in 329 appearances for Bayern in all competitions and still has two years left to run on his contract at the Allianz Arena.
However, According to Sports Mole, the 32-year-old is thought to be open to the idea of playing in the Premier League before the end of his career, and Chelsea have the resources to tempt him into a move.
Bayern boss Julian Nagelsmann recently revealed that there is interest in the experienced striker during this summer’s transfer window.
