A private Nigerian airline, Air Peace, has disclosed plans to restart the Lagos-Johannesburg route on October 17, 2021.
The airline made this known in a statement issued by its spokesperson, Mr Stanley Olisa.
Olisa said that the Lagos-Johannesburg service would operate twice a week. And the flights would be operated on Thursdays and Sundays with its luxury wide-body Boeing 777 aircraft.
According to Olisa, the airline was delighted to return to the route, adding that the request from its teeming passengers prompted the return to the route it suspended in the wake of the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.
He added that the flights would be operated in strict compliance with established COVID-19 protocols.
