Pictures: Nigerian troops destroy ISWAP combat vehicles

The Nigerian Army on Saturday said it neutralised 37 Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists.

Army spokesperson Brigadier-General Onyema Nwachukwu in a statement said troops of the Joint Task Force, codenamed Operation Hadin Kai, neutralised the terrorists during a fight at Askira Uba Local Government Area of Borno State.

The army said five A-Jet, two A-29s, two Dragon combat vehicles, and nine gun trucks belonging to ISWAP were destroyed.

However, the army lost four personnel including Brigadier General Dzarma Zirkusu, Commander of 28 Task Force Brigade, Chibok.
