See how El-Rufai greeted Buhari at Aso Villa today (Photo)

Kaduna governor Mallam Nasir El-Rufai met with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Tuesday.

El-Rufai’s visit to the President comes after banditry attacks on Sunday on Kauran Fawa, Marke and Ruhiya of Idasu Ward of Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State, which left at least 40 people dead.

The governor was accompanied by his Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Mr Samuel Aruwan.

After the meeting with the president, El-Rufai told journalists he was not ready to dialogue with bandits despite incessant attacks. Rather, he said bandits should be killed.

This was however not the first time the governor would be seen greeting the president. He had offered similar greeting gestures for elder statesmen including former President Olusegun Obasanjo and General Abdulsalami Abubakar (retd).
