African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential aspirant, Dr Kingsley Moghalu, on Wednesday mocked All Progressives Congress (APC) national leader, Bola Tinubu, and Ebonyi governor, Dave Umahi, for having to meet with President Muhammadu Buhari before declaring their 2023 presidential ambitions.

Moghalu, a former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Deputy Governor, said he forgot to inform President Buhari of his intention to run.

“I forgot to inform President @Mbuhari that I am running for President. But I informed Nigerians, of whom he is one, so no wahala!” Moghalu wrote.

Tinubu and Umahi on Monday and Tuesday, respectively, paid State House visits to Buhari to inform him of their interest in the 2023 presidential election.

Tinubu, during his visit, said he has the confidence, vision, and capacity to build on the foundation laid by Buhari to turn around the fortune of the country.

Barely 24 hours after Tinubu’s declaration, Umahi also declared his intention, claiming God spoke to him to run for the office.
