Former Arsenal captain Patrick Vieira has declared the Premier League title race done and dusted.
Vieira asserted this after the Gunners were thrashed 3-0 by Brighton on Sunday.
AF24NEWS reports that Manchester City had earlier on Sunday gone four points clear with a 3-0 win at Everton.
According to Vieira, that lead is now unassailable.
“I’m really sorry to say that [the title race is over]. I think it will be impossible to see City let it go now.
“It was a must-win game for Arsenal. They had a lack of energy and it looked like City’s result [against Everton] killed their legs,” Vieira said.
City now need three points from their last three fixtures to be crowned champions for the third successive year.
